a SPACE to spread the PASSION for WINES from SPAIN and PORTUGAL
Our objective was for European tourists to become more familiar with wines from Spain and Portugal. With this in mind, this summer we launched an initiative in the arrivals area of the airports of Malaga (from 8 August to 4 September), Mallorca (from 8 August to 4 September), and Lisbon (from 8 to 21 August). Through it, we could easily approach travellers, to inform them about the high-quality wines we have in Spain and Portugal, as well as the PDOs/PGIs available in the country, while encouraging responsible consumption during their stay.
In these spaces, called “Educational corners”, we had specialised hostesses to provide information to travellers, as well as to deliver the campaign merchandising, consisting of flyers, tote bags, pens, drop-stops and fans, with the aim of increasing the visibility of the campaign.
As a result of this initiative, in this first year of the campaign, we have made more than 3,400,000 contacts and reached more than 7,600 European consumers who are now more familiar with our wines.
