SPANISH WINES Take Center Stage at a VIP DINNER for 18 EUROPEAN Opinion Leaders

On November 5, European opinion leaders from various sectors of the wine industry gathered in Madrid for a pairing dinner that showcased the exceptional quality and diversity of Spanish wines.

Poland, Ireland, and the Netherlands were among the countries represented by the 18 distinguished guests invited by OIVE. The dinner took place at a renowned restaurant in the heart of the Spanish capital.

Led by sommelier Mónica Otero, the pairing began with a cava to welcome the VIP attendees. It continued with wines from DO Ribeiro, DO Vinos de Madrid, DOCa Rioja, DO Ribera del Duero, and DO Alicante, offering a glimpse into the richness of Spain’s 102 Denominations of Origin.

This exclusive dinner was part of the European A Shared Passion program, a collaboration between Spain and Portugal to promote European wines.
