SPANISH WINE Takes Center Stage at the GASTRONOMIC FORUM

One of the premier events in the hospitality and foodservice industry on the Iberian Peninsula, the Gastronomic Forum Barcelona, prominently featured Spanish wine as one of its stars. This was made possible by the presence of the A Shared Passion campaign, which, through the “Organización Española del Vino de España” (OIVE), showcased a stand and hosted a series of workshops at the event.

Held from November 3rd to 5th at the Fira de Barcelona venue in Montjuïc, the fair highlighted the strong interest Spanish wines generate among industry professionals.

Specifically, the A Shared Passion stand became one of the focal points of the event, offering information about European wines and distributing campaign-branded wine coolers (with 300 handed out). The stand also featured wine tastings for attendees, drawing significant attention.

Additionally, 12 workshops, each lasting 45 minutes, were conducted by sommelier Esther Millas, with a total of 188 participants. These workshops provided attendees with an authentic journey through Spain’s wine-producing regions. This activity was part of the European A Shared Passion program, co-financed by the EU and promoted by OIVE and Wines of Portugal.
