PORTUGAL presents its QUALITY wines to the EUROPEAN press for the second time

From September 25 to 29, 2023, Swedish journalists visited Portuguese vineyards and wineries to learn first-hand about how the Portuguese winemaking sector operates, during a trip organized by the Portuguese Wine Interprofessional Organization (ViniPortugal), together with the Spanish Wine Interprofessional Organization (OIVE).

This is the second trip organized by Portugal as part of the project “A Shared Passion.” This project will last three years, during which time the two interprofessional organizations will carry out initiatives to promote their countries’ shared passion for the Iberian Peninsula’s wine and designations of origin.

The journalists visited several estates with vineyards that have a long tradition of producing Portuguese wine, such as Falua – Sociedade de Vinhos, José María da Fonseca, Fitapreta Vinhos, Casa Santos Lima, J. Portugal Ramos, Regional Commission of Wine from Dão (CVR Dão), Quinta Dom Vicente, Quinta da Chocapalha, Casa Américo, Boas Quintas, Quinta Dos Roques, and Wine & Soul.
