Spanish and Portuguese WINES welcome EUROPEAN TOURISTS at major AIRPORTS and STATIONS across the Peninsula
#aSharedPassion ♥
The wines of Spain and Portugal were the first to greet European tourists visiting the Iberian Peninsula this summer. Thanks to a striking advertising campaign using billboards at the Arrivals terminals of 12 of the main Spanish and Portuguese airports, as well as at several train stations, the European promotion campaign A Shared Passion became a highlight of the summer at these tourist hubs.
Aiming to capture the attention of European visitors and associate Spanish wines with moments of enjoyment, socialization, and good memories, this Out-Of-Home (OOH) advertising format was chosen, along with the summer season.
The selected airports were: Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas, Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernández, Málaga-Costa del Sol, Santiago-Rosalía de Castro, Tenerife South-Reina Sofía, Tenerife North-Ciudad de La Laguna, Gran Canaria, César Manrique-Lanzarote, Lisbon Humberto Delgado, Porto-Francisco Sá Carneiro, and Faro.
Specifically, those landing at these airports could watch a short 10-second video (or a static display, depending on the facilities) highlighting the spectacular wine landscapes that adorn the Peninsula, as well as the Spanish and Portuguese way of enjoying wine and gastronomy.
Additionally, the campaign was present in some of the busiest train stations, such as Atocha-Almudena Grandes (Madrid), Barcelona-Sants, Sevilla-Santa Justa, Málaga-María Zambrano, and Santiago de Compostela.
