The MASTERCLASSES offered by the SPANISH and PORTUGUESE wine interprofessional organizations attract a hundred experts at the World Congress in JEREZ

The Spanish and Portuguese wine interprofessional organizations (OIVE and ViniPortugal) organized four masterclasses to showcase the quality and unique properties of Spanish and Portuguese wines at the 44th World Congress of Vine and Wine, held in June in Jerez/Cadiz.

The workshops (two in Spanish and two in English) offered professionals a journey through some of the main designations of origin and protected geographical indications in the two countries, in addition to showcasing their most renowned native grape varieties and most unique wines.

This activity brought together two winemaking countries that share many synergies and traditions, as part of the European program #aSharedPassion, in which the two interprofessional organizations are participating. This program aims to reinforce the image of wine as a product of excellence that has a longstanding tradition in Europe, while always promoting a message of responsible consumption in moderation.
