EUROPEAN journalists visit GALICIA to discover SPANISH wines

Journalists from different European countries—the Netherlands, Italy, Latvia, and Finland—visited Galicia from October 2 to 6, touring various wineries from the Ribeiro, Valdeorras, Ribera Sacra, and Rías Baixas DOs. The purpose of their visit was to gain an in-depth understanding of how the Spanish winemaking sector operates, during a trip organized by the Spanish Wine Interprofessional Organization (OIVE).

Additionally, the press group attended a masterclass taught by the Spanish Union of Wine Tasters (UEC) in Madrid, which included a guided tasting of some of the representative varieties of Spanish wines. 

This is one of several trips organized by the Spanish Wine Interprofessional Organization (OIVE) as part of the program A Shared Passion, which is being implemented along with the Portuguese Wine Interprofessional Organization (ViniPortugal). European journalists will visit the major winemaking regions of both countries.
