Who is responsible for the treatment of your personal data?

The Spanish Wine Interprofessional Organisation (OIVE) and the Interprofessional Association of the Portuguese Wine Industry (ViniPortugal) are responsible for the treatment of the USER’s personal data and informs him that these data will be processed in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27 (GDPR) and the Organic Law 3/2018 of December 5 (LOPDGDD).

What do we process your personal data for?

OIVE and ViniPortugal use your personal data in order to maintain a business relationship with you.

The purposes intended to carry out the treatment are:

– Processing of orders and requests at the request of the User.

– Issuance of commercial advertising communications by email, fax, SMS, MMS, social networks or any other electronic or physical means, present or future, that enables commercial communications.

These communications will be made by OIVE and ViniPortugal and related to its products and services, or its collaborators or suppliers with whom it has reached a promotional agreement. In this case, third parties will never have access to personal data.

– Carry out market studies and statistical analysis.

What is the legal basis for the treatment of your personal data?

OIVE and ViniPortugal’s treatment of your personal data is legitimized by article 6 of the GDPR as follows:

– By the consent of the User: referral of commercial communications and the newsletter, as well as processing orders, requests, etc. at the request of the User.

– For OIVE and ViniPortugal’s legitimate interest: to carry out market studies, statistical analyzes, etc.

For how long will we keep your personal data?

They will be kept only for the time necessary to maintain the end of the treatment or there are legal requirements that dictate their custody. When it is no longer necessary for this, they will be deleted with adequate security measures to guarantee the total anonymization of the data or the total destruction of the same.

To whom do we provide your personal data?

No communication of personal data to third parties is foreseen. Our service providers may have access to your personal data related to communications, under the instructions of OIVE and ViniPortugal, who have signed the corresponding confidentiality and treatment manager contracts required by current regulations.
Likewise, no international transfer will be made outside the European Economic Area.

What are your rights?

The rights that assist the User are:

– Right to withdraw consent at any time.
– Right of access, rectification, portability and deletion of your data and the limitation or opposition to its treatment.
– Right to file a claim with the supervisory authority (www.aepd.es) if it considers that the treatment does not comply with current regulations.

In the event that all the data is not provided, there is no guarantee that the information and services provided are completely adjusted to your needs.

What are the security measures implemented by OIVE and ViniPortugal?

In accordance with the provisions of current regulations on the protection of personal data, OIVE and ViniPortugal comply with all the provisions of the GDPR and LOPDGDD regulations for the treatment of personal data of its responsibility, and manifestly with the principles described in article 5 of the GDPR , for which they are treated in a lawful, loyal and transparent manner in relation to the interested party and adequate, pertinent and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are treated.
