Each autumn, \u201cSal\u00f3n Internacional de Turismo Gastron\u00f3mico, Xantar\u201d<\/strong>, brings together professionals, opinion leaders, and European media from the hospitality and travel sectors in Ourense. In 2024, the stars of the fair were the wines of Spain and Portugal.<\/strong><\/p>\n

From October 24 to 27, the <\/strong>A Shared Passion<\/strong><\/em> campaign, driven by OIVE<\/strong> and ViniPortugal<\/strong>, featured its own stand at the event and organized eight tastings to introduce industry professionals to the diversity of European wines produced in these two countries.<\/p>\n

A total of 192 attendees<\/strong> participated in these activities, experiencing firsthand the exceptional quality of wines from some of Spain\u2019s 102 Denominations of Origin and Portugal\u2019s 14 wine regions. These attributes highlight the wines as a key asset in the thriving Iberian gastronomic tourism sector.<\/p>\n

All these initiatives are part of the European A Shared Passion<\/strong><\/em> program, which unites Spanish and Portuguese organizations to promote European wines.<\/p>\n
